Britney's Baby -- Reaching for Attention?

Why haven't we seen Britney Spears baby yet?

"While one of Brit's assistants held Sean Preston in his clutches on the way out of mom's workout, another male member of her entourage could be seen lugging a carrier with a cute lil' baby arm sticking out of it. As TMZ pointed out yesterday, only Jayden's foot has been seen in public since his birth in September."

Rosie O'Donnell may be headed back to Broadway

Access Hollywood has confirmed that Rosie O'Donnell has been approached by producers of “Les Miserables,” asking her to join the revival's Broadway cast. After a performance of the musical on Rosie’s birthday “View” episode, she indicated she would be interested.

Marc Thibodeau, a “Les Miserables” spokesperson, told The New York Times the show would welcome O’Donnell. However, the role she reportedly wants to take on — Madame Thenardier — was just taken up by another actress earlier this week.

“We think she would make a terrific Madame Thenardier and would love to have her join the show at some point in the future,” he said.

If Rosie makes the move it wouldn’t be her first time on Broadway. She previously starred in "Fiddler On The Roof" (2005), "Seussical" (2001) and "Grease!" (1994).

Wherever she goes, many in Hollywood are saddened at Rosie’s “View” departure.

“I'm devastated Rosie is leaving,” Kathy Griffin told Access Hollywood Wednesday night. “I'm a huge fan, she's always been fantastic for the show. And I don't know, I really wish that they would work it out."

Alec Baldwin Apologizes

In an appearance on The View taped Wednesday, Alec Baldwin offered an emotional apology for his voicemail towards his 11 year-old daughter, PEOPLE has learned.

"Obviously calling your child a pig or anything else is improper and inappropriate and I apologize to my daughter for that," Baldwin said on the show, which is scheduled to air Friday.

"There's nothing wrong with being frustrated or angry about the situation," added Baldwin. "It's the way you do it, and as people often do in this world, I took it out on the wrong person."

Baldwin, 46, whose battle with ex-wife Kim Basinger took a very public turn last week when his voicemail to daughter Ireland was leaked on TMZ.com, did not say whether he has talked to his daughter since the voicemail hit the Web. But he insisted the incident was isolated.

"In my own case, with this message, I had never done this before in my life," he said.

Baldwin also added that he has asked NBC to release him from his contract for 30 Rock because he doesn't want the show or its cast and crew to be negatively affected by him.

"If I never acted again I couldn't care less," he told the audience. "I would like to devote myself to the cause of parental alienation," which is a subject Baldwin says he's writing a book about.

For her part, Basinger has said through her rep that she hopes her ex will curb his "irrational behavior." "It is Kim's sincerest wish is for [Alec] to finally address his unstable and irrational behavior so he, at some point can potentially create a relationship with his daughter."

After the show, audience members told PEOPLE they were conflicted about Baldwin's mea culpa. "There's two sides to every story," one audience member said. "So he gave his side, but his ex-wife should have her chance to give her side, too."

Said another audience member: "We did feel sorry for him. He made us understand his point of view."

Hilary Duff has death threat scare

According canada.com.

"Police officers moved quickly to take down a man who allegedly threatened to kill pop star and actress Hilary Duff during her appearance on a Canadian TV show.
Duff was being interviewed Tuesday by Much Music host Leah Miller on Live @ Much when a man in the crowd outside the studio started shouting at the 19-year-old star. According to an eyewitness, the unidentified man vowed to kill Duff, prompting several police officers to tackle him.
"The cops slammed his face into the pavement," said photographer Todd Gillis, who witnessed the incident. He was bleeding."

Rosie Makes It Official -- She's Leaving

Here is another surprise and confirmed by TMZ.Com of the departure of Rosie O'Donnell from the View.
"Rosie O'Donnell said: "Breaking News. I've decided we couldn't come to terms with my deal." Rosie wanted one year and she wanted three years. She says she'll be on frequently next season but won't be a regular.

Barbara said she's sad."
From what I hear ratings have gone up since Rosie came on the show. I wonder if the producers of the show had enough of the Donald and Rosie escapade.
